Roman and Natalia are:

• The First Ukrainian Professional couple to win World 10 Dance Championship
• The First Ukrainian Professional couple to win European 10 Dance Championship.  And did it twice.
• The First Ukrainian Professional couple to became medalists of World and European  Latin American Show Dance Championships
• The First  Ukrainian couple to be invited to the most prestigios shows in London, GB
• The First  Ukrainian couple and only one, who represented their country in all World and European Championships in 4 programes: Latin, Ballroom, Latin american Show Dance and 10 Dance.
• The First  Ukrainian couple to win President's award of WDC - Donnie Burns - Crystal Globe President Award WDC for the special contribution to the development of dance sport.
• Roman Myrkin - The First  representative of Ukrainian to adopte  in Presidium of Dance Competitor Comission WDC, and later to WDC Executive Bord.

Truly unique dance couple, because Roman and Natalia are only one in the World, who represented their country on official European and World Championships on four programs: European, Latin American, Latin American Show Dance and in the program of 10 Dances, and everywhere showed very high results.

The history of the Sport Dance Club "SHANS"

From the first days of the club Director - Biedniagina Iryna - teacher with extensive experience. Judge of International category WDC and IDSA, the prize winner of «Terpsichore» for holding the best competitions in sport dancing in Ukraine in 2001 and for the special contribution to the development of dance sport in Ukraine in 2008. Club coaches - Natalia Biedniagina and Igor Shnurenko (seven-times Champions of Kiev, 6 years Champions of Ukraine in 10 Dances programme). The club consisted of 5 competition couples: Margarita Chuykevich and Anton Skrigin, Yana Malaya and Spivak Maxim, Eremkina Olga and Tribunskiy Eugeniy, Taratuta Liana and Shlyakhtichenko Georgiy, Taratuta Victoria and Barilovskiy Sergey and 18 people preparatory group. Common interests, sportsmanship and interesting exercise, the club began to show good results at the competition, established a good reputation of the club. Margarita and Anton, winners of National Championships, winners of City and international competitions. (In 1998. Two of our guys went to live abroad. Margarita went to Canada and immediately won the Champion title of this country in his age category, and Maxim Spivak in 1999 went to America, where he became a coach and opened his own Studio of Ballroom dance). Barilovskiy Sergey and Taratuta Victoria - one of the best couples of Ukraine in the category Juvenile and Junior 1. Winners and finalists of the Championship of Kiev, Ukraine and International competitions. Matvienko Andrey and Dimopoulos Khrisanti - Finalists of the Ukrainian Championships and International competitions. Budyak Evgeniy and Avrashko Maria - Winners of Championships of Ukraine, Kiev competitions and the major competitions of International ranking and IDSF. Sokirko Yuriy and Yelizaveta Druzhinina - leading couple of Ukraine in the Latin-American program, the Finalists of the International and IDSF competitions. Bysko Aleksey and Dovgaleva Daria - Winners of National Championships and Winners of the most competitions in Ukraine, International tournaments in Poland, Greece, Slovakia.   Since January 2000 the club is under reconstruction, life makes amendments to the leading couple and club coaches - Roman Myrkin and Natalia Biedniagina. For the first year of the joint work of the couple they have achieved very good results: the Bronze Medallist of the Ukrainian Cup, Ukrainian Champions in Ten Dances, Winners of the European Cup in Standard, Finalists of the International competitions in Poland, Spain, Belarus. Among the achievements of this year is a success of the dancing couples in the age group of 16-18 years: Aleksey Bysko and Ksenia Gorb - Champions of Kiev, Winners of the National Championships and the Winners of the International competitions in Ukraine, Slovenia and Poland. High results shows: Titarenko Sergey and Anna Korzh, Artem Lavrushka and Zaitseva Ekaterina in category under 16 years. Victor Samonov and Elena Khablenko - Finalists of the Ukrainian Championships and International competitions. (In the future Elena moved to Austria and become a National Champion in professional in Latin). Also this year, the club has grown beautiful baby dancing duets: Georgiy Laptiy and Rossinskaya Maria - Winners of the Kyiv Cup, the Silver Medallists in Poland, Slovenia and the Czech Republic, Dmitry Shumigay and Tatiana Terekhova - Winners of the International competitions in Ukraine, Spain, Slovenia. Vladyslav Kudin and Berezovskaya Larisa, Skichko Vadim and Anastasiya Kirsanova.

In 2002 –

Ksenia Gorb and Aleksey Bysko become Masters of Sport and complete their joint career and created two beautiful couples, who are on the leading positions in Ukraine:

Ksenia Gorb and Dmitriy Dikusar, Aleksey Bysko and Anna Palamarchuk. Both couples show very high results in Ukraine and abroad.(In the future: Ksenia, Dmitriy, Anna and Ekateryna Trishina become stars of the TV Dance shows "Dancing with a Stars" & etc)

 In the same season, Amateur couple:

Trishina Ekaterina and Sergey Titarenko become the Bronze Medallists of the Ukrainian Championship in 10 Dances.

 One of the most successful couples in the club is a Juvenile couple:

Vladyslav Kudin and Bobrovskaya Alla. They become Champions of Ukraine, Winners of International competitions in Slovenia, Belarus, Russia and Won the 3rd place in the structure of Ukrainian team at the Blackpool Dance Festival.

At that period the Club "SHANS" has over 40 competitive couples and about 300 people in preparatory groups.

In the category of Amateurs: Roman and Natalia achieved very good results. They were placed in top 10 best couples of the World in 10 Dances, danced in the finals and semifinals of major competitions of International ranking in Latin American program, were the Winners of the European in 2001 in the Ballroom, became Finalists and Winners of the IDSF and International competitions.

April 22 - couple already represented Ukraine at the Moscow World Championship Latin American Show Dance. On May at the Blackpool Dance Festival in new quality - Roman and Natalia became the finalists of the tournament Professional Rising Star Latin!

It was a starting of successful career, it was supposed to. For all years of dancing in the professionals Roman & Natalia became one of the most titled couples in the world.
